Each 2006 dated coin contains one troy ounce of silver. Has a beautiful Walking Liberty design on the obverse and Eagle design on the reverse, hence the nickname "eagle".
History of the US SILVER EAGLE DOLLARS:
The first American Eagle Silver dollar coins were minted by the United States government mint in 1986. They have been minted each year since then. Considered by many to be one of the favorite American coin designs. Each of these US silver dollars contains 1 ounce of solid silver. These brilliant uncirculated 2006 silver dollar coins come in a government tube of twenty coins.
